Linda Marie Hartley

Linda Marie Hartley, 72, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospitals with her beloved family by her side. Per her request, cremation rites have been accorded.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is assisting the family Memorials in Linda’s name may be made to Synovial Sarcoma Foundation. Linda Marie Hartley was born on October 26, 1952 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Luther and Norma (Howell) Hartley.  She graduated from Lone Tree High School.  Linda worked in the advertising department at the Muscatine Journal for many years before she retired.  She enjoyed working out in the garden and “hiring” her grandchildren to help her out.  Family meant everything to Linda and she cherished every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Linda will be missed by her significant other of 33 years Robert Doerres; children Camy (John) Rosenkild, Amy (Jason) Terpenning, and Chet (Rhonda) Ayers; grandchildren Gage, McKenna, Erik, Zach, Lindsey, Erin, Ryan, Jenna, Emma, Cassie, and Geena; nine great-grandchildren; siblings Mary Wood, Nancy Ford, Irene Waltz, Don Hartley, and Diane Fellows; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends Mary Sue, Stacy, and the Water Witches.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
