LeRoy Holtz Obituary

LeRoy Edward Holtz passed at Rock Island Trinity Hospital on July 23, 2020 after a brief illness.

LeRoy was born to Ed and (Fern ( Lahl ) Holtz on August 30, 1943 of Long Grove , Iowa. On June 28th 1974 he and Delores Elshoff married. He was an avid Farmer. After moving to the Muscatine area he worked for Brad Morgan – at Muskie refuge, L&M Waste until he retired in 2004. His hobbies included woodworking, Salvaging scrap metal.

He is survived by his Wife Dolores, Daughter Kim ( Rick ) Rayls of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Son Joe ( Kristin ) of Eldridge, Iowa Step Children Marvin ( Jackie ), Tim ( Esperanza) , Joe, Bill ( Judy ) Brockert , Cathy ( Roy ) Halstead, Betty ( Charles ) Behnke. All from the Muscatine area. Brother Dale of Alamo, Texas , Sister Gloria ( Bob ) Schmidt of Eldridge. Sister-in-law Joyce Holtz of Davenport. 32 grand children and 21 great grand children. Several Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death his Parents, brother Gary, sister -in -law Sharon, 2 Step sons and 1 grandchild and 1 great- grand child. A private Celebration of life will be held. Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services are caring for LeRoy.
