Larry Edward Tietje

Larry Tietje, 73, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at his home.   Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Greenwood Cemetery. Larry Edward Tietje was born on June 11, 1950 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Edward and June (Baars) Tietje.  On December 26, 1969 he was united in marriage to Patricia King in Muscatine.  She preceded him in death on September 19, 1972.  Larry served his country in the United States Navy.  He was a member of the Muscatine Fire Department from 1975 to 1988.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Larry will be deeply missed by his children, Chad Zaehringer of Muscatine; Michael (Kim) Zaehringer of Muscatine; daughter, Tricia (Craig) Bragg of Muscatine; grandchildren, Grayson, Delaney, Jack,  Tyus, Sydni and Trey; sisters, Linda Tietje, Betty Tietje and Carol (Jay) Feddersen, all of Muscatine, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
