Larry V. Honts

Larry V. Honts, 71, of Muscatine, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at his home in Muscatine.   A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Larry Vernon Honts was born on November 17, 1954, in Muscatine, Iowa the son of Robert Vernon and Catherine M. (White) Honts.  He was a 1974 graduate of Muscatine High School and attended Muscatine Community College.  On June 8, 2002, Larry was united in marriage to Mishelle Marie Sabin in Muscatine.  Larry worked as a surveyor for the DNR and then Hahn Ready Mix as a truck driver for nearly 30 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Larry will be deeply missed by his wife, Mishelle of Muscatine; his children, Angie Crumly of Muscatine, Bradley o(Julie) Honts of Muscatine; step-children, Zach (Val) Foor of Muscatine and Kayla Rogers of Wilton; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dave (Gail) Honts of Muscatine, Gloria Schulz of Florida and Shirley (Jack) Wilson of Le Claire and many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shannon Honts; brother, Jerry Honts; nieces, Jaime Peck and Melissa Beverlin and nephew, Joe Beverlin.
