Larry Anderson, 78, of Columbus Junction, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023 at his home. Celebration of life services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion, 110 S. Houser Street, Muscatine, Iowa. Memorials may be left to the family in memory of Larry. Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Columbus Junction is assisting the family with arrangements. Larry John Anderson was born October 15, 1945 in Boone, Iowa, the son of Edward and Shirley (Neece) Anderson. He married Marlene Edwards and from this union they had one daughter, Laura, and Larry gained three daughters, Julie, Kelly and Connie. The couple later divorced. Larry was united in marriage to Tammy Wade on June 28, 2008 in Muscatine, Iowa.

Larry worked for Hon Industries in their maintenance department and retired after many years. He was known as a man who could fix anything and when he was not working, he enjoyed fishing, boating and having a beer while grilling out.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Tammy Anderson; children: Laura (Jason) Liegois, Julie Stauffer, Kelly See, Connie (Bruce) Doak, Bill (Jennifer) Wade, Chad (Christine) Furman and Mandi Frederick; grandchildren: Jessica Stauffer, Cody See (Jaslin Luna), Emilee Marler, Jacob Liegois, Madeline Liegois, Gaven Wade, Braxton Wade, Nakomis Furman, Carly Furman, Olivia Furman and Lucas Frederick; great-grandson, Wyatt Hackney; and siblings: Bob (Mona) Anderson and Jerry (Jaime) Maylone.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
