Kenny Metzger, 83, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at his home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the family in memory of Kenny. Kenneth Lee Metzger was born on July 18, 1941, in Muscatine, the son of Wilbur and Neva (Keiser) Metzger. On July 1, 1961, he was united in marriage to Janice Linn in Muscatine. He served his country in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 at Fort Lewis in Washington. Kenny worked at Thatcher Plastics for many years. He enjoyed traveling, camping and loved everything to do with cars. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Kenny will be deeply missed by his wife, Janice of Muscatine; daughter, Kelly (Jack) Collins of Muscatine; grandson, Brandon Collins; step-grandchildren, Tim Collins, Jack Collins II, Bryan Collins and Brittany Collins; great-grandchildren, Asher and Daxton Collins and five step-great-grandchildren.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wilbur Metzger.
