Kenneth W. Hooker

Kenneth W. Hooker, 64, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Trinity Hospital of Muscatine.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Kenneth William Crabtree was born on September 19, 1957, in Warsaw, Illinois the son of Marvin Leroy and Bertha Ruth (Lewis) Crabtree.  On September 18, 2008, Kenneth was united in marriage to Cheryl Lynn Hooker in Muscatine.  Kenneth worked for Muscatine Shell Camp and later Muscatine Metals.  He enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, hunting, trapping, ginseng hunting and mushroom hunting, but most of all, he dearly loved to spend time with his family, especially the grandchildren.

Kenneth will be deeply missed by his wife, Cheryl of Muscatine; his children, Tanya (Jesse) Jorgenson of Faribault, Minnesota, Christopher (Joni) Brown of Zena, Illinois, Felicia Nesbit and her significant other, Michael Brown of Muscatine, Lucas Nesbit of Muscatine, Amber Nesbit of Muscatine, Amanda Montoya of Muscatine and Adam Hessenflow of Muscatine; 13 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, Hazel (Ward) Fuller of Muscatine, Rose Brooks of Davenport, Terry Crabtree of Keokuk, Marvis Paasch of Muscatine, Ruth (Sam) Norman of Muscatine, Pansy (Wendy) Reynolds of Muscatine, Shirley (Chris) Edaburn of Muscatine and Laura Tate of California and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Jeremiah Ryan Lee Lake; three brothers, Charles, Robert and Jim and one sister, Mary Crabtree Gomez.
