Karon Aylmer, 82, of Muscatine passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at The University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. A memorial service for Karon will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine. Karon Elaine Struble was born on March 9, 1944 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Rex L. Struble and Shirley E. (Owen) Struble. Karon was a high school graduate and went on to attend college. On August 21, 1987, Karon was united in marriage to Roderick J. Aylmer in Las Vegas, Nevada. Karon worked many years for HON Industries as an environmental technician.
Karon will be deeply missed by her children, Stacey Hemenway, Michael Hemenway, Daniel Hemenway and Cathy Hemenway; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Mark Roth and sister, Pam Telep.
Karon was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roderick.
