Karen Joanne (Ferguson) Reizer

Karen J. Reizer, 62, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Unity Point-Trinity Bettendorf. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Grandview Senior Lofts Community Room, 1925 Grandview Avenue, 1st floor, Muscatine.  Private inurnment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.   Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Karen’s family and the arrangements.

Karen Joanne Ferguson was born on June 25, 1960 in Tucson, Arizona, the daughter of Rodney Ferguson and Judine (Brewer) Brockert.  In 1983, she was united in marriage to Douglas Reizer and later divorced.  Karen was a homemaker who enjoyed cleaning, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing games on her cell phone and more than anything else, spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. 

Karen will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lacy Reizer of Muscatine; grandchildren, Kamryn Taylor and Reizer Hopkins both of Muscatine; her father, Rodney Ferguson of Muscatine and her five sisters, Kathy O’Brien of Muscatine, Kris Ferguson of Muscatine, Kay (Cory) White of Wilton, Karole (Randy) Dean-Tiedje of Wheatland and Kimberly (Mike) Canarr of Fruitland. 

Karen was preceded in death by her mother; brother-in-law Tim Dean and her ex-husband, Doug.
