Judith R. (Snyder) Snyder

     Judith R. Snyder, 60, of Lone Tree, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.  Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the Lone Tree Cemetery.  Online condolences for the family may be sent to www.sandhfuneralservices.com.  The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Lone Tree is caring Judy’s family.

     Judy Rae Snyder was born on October 21, 1960, in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of William H. and Ula (Wiese) Snyder.  She was a graduate of Solon High School.  Judy worked at the University Of Iowa for 40 years.  Judy enjoyed camping, fishing, dancing, was an avid Hawkeye fan and volunteered at Special Olympics, but most of all she loved to spend time with her family.

     Judy will be deeply missed by her husband, J.R. Fankhauser of Lone Tree; daughter, Michelle Snyder and boyfriend, Brandon C. of Iowa City and siblings, Charlotte (Kenneth “Sam”) Hill of Harpers Ferry, Phyllis (William) Hodina of Cedar Rapids, Bill Snyder of Ely, Bob (Lynn) Snyder of Coralville, Mike Snyder of Minnesota and Pam Gustoff of Riverside.

     Judy was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Marilyn and Doris.
