Joyce "Jody" Borge

Joyce  “Jody” Borge, 77, of Muscatine passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Unity Point – Trinity Health Care of Muscatine.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.    Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservices.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Joyce’s arrangements and her family. 

Joyce A. Lehman was born on January 19, 1947, the daughter of John and Gwendolyn (Van Blaricome) Lehman.  Joyce was a 1965 graduate of Ottumwa High School. She later attended Indian Hills Community College.  Joyce worked in social services.  She was united in marriage to Lawrence Peine.  They later divorced.  Joyce currently is married to Felix Borge.  Joyce was a member of Chapel of Praise Church in Muscatine and was very involved in the Jesus Mission and Jessica’s Closet.  She enjoyed going to church, singing, painting, playing the guitar and fishing.  Joyce was a very creative and talented person. 

Joyce will be deeply missed by her husband, Felix of Muscatine; her children, Andrew (fiancé Lisa Gerlt) Peine of Kansas City, Missouri, Matt (Tonya) Peine of Muscatine, Joshua (Jennifer) Peine of Muscatine and Jackie Blake of Wilton; grandchildren, Mark Peine, Kayla Chambers, Hannah Nicole Peine, Derrik Peine, Cameron Davis, Joseph Peine, Samantha Peine, Lawson Peine, Cooper Peine and Jenna Peine; great-grandchildren, Eliza Peine, Bentley Ross, Layla Harper, Zealand Chambers, Harmony Chambers and Amelia Peine. 

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Jessica Peine; brother, John Lehman and sister, Renae Boswell.
