John Staats

John Staats, 62, of Oakville, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at his home in Oakville.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Harrison Cemetery.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Johnny.  Sympathy messages can be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Johnny Scott Staats was born on June 5, 1959, the son of Elmer Louis and M. Ann (Cline) Staats.  He attended Wapello Schools.  Johnny worked at Tyson Foods in Columbus Junction. 

John will be deeply missed by his sisters, Kathy (Doug Olson) Staats of Burlington, Janice (Larry) Sharar of Oakville; nephews, Jason (Emily) Burgus, and Brandon (Amanda) Burgus; niece, Michelle Campbell and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
