Joel M. Connor

Joel M. Connor, 77, of Wapello, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at his home in Wapello.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 14279 H Avenue in Wapello.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello is caring for Joel’s family and arrangements.

Joel Michael Connor was born on November 16, 1947, in Burlington, Iowa the son of Clyde Melvin Beeding and Delores Clara Connor.  He was a 1966 graduate of L&M High School and attended M.C.C.  On January 4, 1969, Joel was united in marriage to Vicki Philpott in Muscatine.  He was a truck driver for various companies through the years.  Joel volunteered at C.A.P. Agency and enjoyed collecting tools, attending auctions, flea markets, being on the farm and spending his leisure time mowing. 

Joel will be deeply missed by his wife, Vicki of Wapello; his children, Trisha (John) Stevens of Wapello and Paul Connor and partner, Shauntel of Wapello; six grandchildren, Merissa Hammann and companion, Niegel Phelps, John Paul Stevens, Dominique  (Greg) Leach, Angelique Connor and partner Chance, Dale Connor and partner, Kesi and Sebastian Connor and partner, Madison; 9 great grandchildren and one sister, Wanda Walker of Muscatine.

Joel was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Steve and Larry Beeding.
