Jodi Durant

Jodi Durant, 48, of Burlington, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Hope Haven in Burlington.  Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Swedesburg Church Cemetery.  Memorials may be left to Hope Haven in memory of Jodi. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Jodi’s family and arrangements.

Jodi M. Durant was born on June 30, 1974, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of John and Christy (Sandeen) Durant.  After her mother passed, she was raised by her grandmother, Mabel Sandeen.  Jodi was a resident of Hope Haven.  She enjoyed visiting with the other residents and was very outgoing.  Christmas was her favorite time of year and she loved Santa Claus and collecting snow globes.  Jodi liked coloring books, sticker books and all animals but especially dogs and cats.  Trips to Grant’s Farm were among her favorite times.  Jodi loved all the Disney characters, especially Mickey and Minnie Mouse.  

Jodi will be deeply missed by her brother, Donald Durant and her cousin, Brian (Paulette) Korn.

She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Ronald.
