Jim H. Greenwald

James “Jim” H. Greenwald, 75, of Letts, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Lutheran Living of Muscatine. Private family services will be held at a later date.  Burial will be held in the Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Jim’s family and arrangements.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Jim’s name. James Harold Greenwald was born on February 6, 1950, in Muscatine, Iowa the son of Harold J. and Marie (Kurriger) Greenwald.  Jim attended Muscatine High School. He worked as a Master Grinder at Schmarje Tool for many years.  Jim enjoyed working on vehicles including cars, trucks, motorcycles and lawn mowers, hunting, fishing, taking care of his yard and eating spicy foods.  He was also an avid Iowa Hawkeye and NASCAR fan, with Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. being his favorite.

 James will be deeply missed by his sister, Sharon (Mike) Yocom of Muscatine; three grandchildren; Dakota, Samantha, and Harley and special nephews; Chad Yocom, Nick Yocom, Nicholas Yocom, and Jonah Koch

James was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Mindy Law.
