Jena Marie Bartenhagen

Jena Bartenhagen, 25, of Muscatine, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Lutheran Living in Muscatine. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Island United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Jena.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Jena Marie Bartenhagen was born on June 10, 2000 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Jeremy Bartenhagen and Penny Barker.  She was a graduate of Muscatine High School and attended Muscatine Community College.  She loved hunting, fishing, anything to do with arts and crafts and being with animals.  Most of all she loved being with her family.

Jena will be deeply missed by her cousins, Michele and Bob Nowak, Melissa McNally; father, Jeremy Bartenhagen; sister; Bristol Bartenhagen; grandmother, Sue (Denny) Jarrett; great-grandparents, Jim and Judy Bartenhagen; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and her Island United Methodist Church family.

Jena was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents, Jerry Bartenhagen; Terry and Peggy Barker; great-grandparents, John and Colleen LaRue and uncle, Barry Jarrett.
