Jeffrey Andrew Knock

Jeffrey A. Knock, 50, of North Liberty, formerly of Lone Tree, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at his home.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Lone Tree.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Knock Children’s Education Fund which has been established at Hill’s Bank and Trust.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  .

Jeffrey Andrew Knock was born on March 1, 1971, in Marengo, Iowa, the son of Gerald Eugene and Brenda S. (Henley) Knock.  He was a 1989 graduate of City High and then attended the University of Iowa.  On September 21, 1996, Jeff was united in marriage to Karleen Brenneman in Lone Tree.  He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers and St. Louis Cardinals fan.  He enjoyed reading, bowling, watching movies, fishing and mushroom hunting, but most of all, he dearly loved to watch and coach his children’s sports.        

Jeffrey will be deeply missed by the mother of his children, Karleen Knock of Lone Tree; his children, Avery Knock, Alyssa Knock and Adam Knock all of Lone Tree; parents, Gerald and Brenda Knock of Tiffin; brothers, Larry (Jenni) Knock of Shueyville and David Knock of Greenville, South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Kade, Grace and Harry; mother-in-law, Andrea Brenneman; brother-in-law, Phil Brenneman; several aunts, uncles cousins and his cat, Soji .

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, father-in-law, Raymond Brenneman and aunts and uncles.
