Jeffery A. Monroe, 60, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport. A Celebration of Life for Jeff will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for Jeff’s family and arrangements.

Jeffery Alan Monroe was born on February 6, 1963 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of John Franklin and Thelma (Mallory) Monroe. Jeff attended school in Muscatine and went on to receive a degree in Brewing Science and Engineering from The American Brewers Guild in Woodland, California. Jeff proudly served his country in the United States Army. In July of 1987, Jeff met Lynda Hammerich and on July 20, 2007 they were married in Las Vegas. Jeff enjoyed fishing, going out shooting, ice fishing and hunting.

Jeff will be deeply missed by his wife, Lynda of Muscatine; sisters, Patti Shockley of Palm Coast, Florida and Eileen Wilmington of Springfield, Virginia and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John Jr. Dennis and Gregory Monroe and nephews, Mark and John III Monroe.
