Jeff Genung

Jeff Genung, 66, of Muscatine passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at his home in Muscatine.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Home for Funeral & Cremation Services is caring for Jeff’s arrangements. 

Jeffrey Jon Genung was born on April 7, 1960 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Chalmer and Marjorie (Schrock) Genung.  Jeff attended Glen Oaks High School in Louisiana.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, going to auctions and getting stoned.  He also enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren and especially watching his granddaughter play softball. 

Jeff will be deeply  missed by his children, Holly (Korey Reynolds) Brockert of Muscatine, Nicole Genung of Wisconsin and Joshua Genung of Muscatine; grandchildren, Sean Steepleton, Kyndra Genung, Makynzie Genung, Keaton Gomez, Logan Turner, Esmeralda Reynolds, Brooklyn Genung and Cayleigh Turner; siblings, Timothy Genung of Muscatine, Charles (Sandy) Genung of Muscatine, Kevin (Cindy) Genung of Tipton, Nancy (Ken) Nelson of Hilton Head, Julie (Gene) White of Muscatine and Caroline (Jeff) Shaner of Burlington and several nieces and nephews. 

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beth Ann and brother, Lester.
