Jeanne Elizabeth (Eaton) Scott

Jeanne Scott, 69, of Muscatine passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island. Private services will be held at a later date. Jeanne Elizabeth Eaton was born on October 5, 1955 in St. Joseph, MO the daughter of R. Vergil and Betty (Murphy) Eaton.  She was a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College.  On December 18, 1976 she was united in marriage to John Scott in Mount Pleasant.  She was a member of the PEO Chapter MM, GB T.T.T., and Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She volunteered with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps, cooking and sewing flags, and was inducted into their Hall of Fame due to her service.  Jeanne loved to volunteer and shared her time with many organizations and causes.  Most of all, she loved taking care of and spending time with her family. 

Jeanne will be deeply missed by her husband, John Scott; children, Bradley (Kim) Scott and Tara Scott; grandchildren Ryan, Abby, Hannah, and Leah and brother, Ray (Janet) Eaton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
