Jason Staley Obituary

Jason W. Staley, 48, of Letts passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at his home. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine.  Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the funeral home.  A memorial has been established for the family in Jason’s name. Jason W. Staley was born on January 8, 1974, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Dennis and Jeannie (Mayfield) Staley.  Jason was a 1992 graduate of Muscatine High School and worked for over 15 years at Canadian Pacific Railroad.   Jason was united in marriage  with Heidi Jacobs in 2008 and later divorced. On June 28, 2022, he was united in marriage to Tracy Huston.   Jason enjoyed racing, bowling, fishing, going to the casino and coffee with his dad.  He was a part of a bowling league, Clash of Clans league and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  His great enjoyment was spending time with his family. 

Jason will be deeply missed by his wife, Tracy Staley of Letts; children, Cristian (Samantha) Staley of West Des Moines and Levi Staley of Fruitland; step-children, Lakota, Neil Jr., David, Joslynn and Ethan; grandchildren; Sawyer, Kynlea and Aspen; his father, Dennis Staley of Muscatine; siblings, Jeff Staley and fiancé of Muscatine, Tim (Cari) Staley of Muscatine and Todd (Misty) Staley of Nichols and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. 

Jason was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents and uncles.
