James "Jim" Hubert Hill Sr.

Jim Hill Sr, 75, of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at his home.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Jim.  The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for the family’s arrangements.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

James Hubert Hill was born on October 25, 1945 in Unionville, MO, the son of James Blaine and Helen “Emogene” (Summer) Hill.  On June 6, 1964, he was united in marriage to Ritta “Sue” Leck in Unionville, MO.  Jim worked for over 45 years as a production manager starting with Thatcher Plastics and retiring from Berry Plastics.  He loved being outside, walking the dog, watching birds, taking care of his lawn, riding his tractor and most of all, being with his family.

Jim will be deeply missed by his wife, Sue of Muscatine; sons, James (Tonya) Hubert Jr. of Muscatine, Blaine (Mary) Hill of Muscatine; grandchildren, Matt (Gailyn) Hill, Emily (James) Shelman, Brad (Skye) Hill and Jake Hill; great-grandchildren, Hudson and Cameron; sisters, Carol “Cookie” and Sandy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his oldest sister, Mary and his twin sister, Linda.
