Jacqueline JoAnn Brase

Jackie Brase, 82, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Accura Health Care of Muscatine.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be left to the family in memory of Jackie.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for the family.  Online condolences for the family may be sent to www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Jacqueline JoAnn Johnson was born on February 26, 1944  in Muscatine, the daughter of Paul and Irene (Saunders) Johnson.  On October 16, 1982 she was united in marriage to Bernie Brase.  She was a homemaker most of her life.  She enjoyed crafts, knitting and crocheting.  Most of all, she loved being with her family.

Jackie will be deeply missed by her children, Crystal Nichols of Holts Summit, MO, Skeet (Angie) Lewis of Muscatine, Tanya Brase of Letts; grandchildren, Tashine Trammell, Phillip “PJ” Nichols, Chyanne Kitson, Michael Landreth, Justin Landreth, Kaylee (Michael) Novitske, Brittany (Justin) Hodges, Thomas (Adriana) Brase, Landon Nichols and Alexis Nichols; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jessie, Annabelle, Alyssa, Jayzer, Zayge, Olyne, Xyphora, Lanyx, Bareryk, Mason, Cash, Mariana, Adelina, Roseleigh and brother, Tom (Koralie) Johnson of Muscatine.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, brothers, Paul Retherford, Lyle Retherford, Raymond Johnson, Joe Johnson, Ronald Houseman, Marvin Johnson, Robert Johnson, Richard Johnson, Donald Johnson, sisters, Lois Horn and Jennifer Johnson and grandparents, Mabel and Tom Chinnery.
