Jack L. Bierman, 75, of Muscatine, Iowa passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at his home with his beloved family by his side. Per his request cremation rites have been accorded. A visitation to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 11:00am – 12:00pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 1613 Bidwell Road Muscatine. Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is assisting the family. Inurnment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine at a later date. Jack was born on October 28, 1949 in Muscatine, Iowa to Virgil and Barbara (Brown) Bierman. Following high school, he joined the United States Airforce. Jack worked as an airplane mechanic for many years and retired from the Airforce as a hospital administrator. Jack was united in marriage to Linda Kephart on December 7, 1968 in Aledo, Illinois. In his younger years, Jack enjoyed golfing. Following retirement, he enjoyed going for walks with his dogs, taking long drives in the car, and spending time with his family.
Those left to honor his memory are his wife of 56 years Linda; their children Jack (Michelle) Bierman, Jr., Shawn (Brittany) Bierman, and Crissy Shoemaker; six beloved grandchildren Jeff (Libby) Clevenger, Jamie Clevenger, Cale (Allison) Bierman, Colby (Bailey) Bierman, Finn Bierman, and Mabel Bierman; four great-grandchildren; brothers Larry (Cheryl) Bierman and Randy (Carolyn) Bierman; half brothers Virgil (Dawn) Bierman, Rick (Rhonda) Bierman, and Rod (Tonya) Bierman.
He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Barbara, sister Barbara Marshall, and half-sister Nancy Hotchkiss.
