Ireta “Pat” Dunker, 86, of Muscatine, went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2022 at Unity Point Hospital-Trinity Muscatine while surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services, Muscatine. Interment will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Mulford Evangelical Youth Group in Pat’s name. Ireta Patsey Hepker was born on March 2, 1936 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Russell and Estelline (McCleary) Hepker. She was a graduate of the Muscatine High School class of 1954 “The Class of Champions” and soon after was united in marriage to George Lee Dunker at the First Baptist Church in Muscatine on June 27, 1954. She was a master homemaker and member of the Mulford Evangelical Free Church. Pat enjoyed traveling and loved seeing new places. She enjoyed music, dancing, gift-giving and most of all, time spent with her family.
Pat will be deeply missed by her husband, George of Muscatine; two daughters, Rochelle (Gary) Street and Julie (Darren) Whitehall all of Muscatine; four grandchildren, Josiah (Lauren) Street, Jeremiah (Megan) Whitehall, Amber (P.J.) Holladay and Rachel (Zachary) Tucker; twelve great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Paxton, Alexa, Rayne, Markie, Nora, Atlas, Roxen, Russell, Luna, Julian and Lenyx and one brother, Darrell (Jo Anna) Hepker of Charlottesville, Virginia.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents.
