Hector Heredia

Hector Heredia, 72, of Grandview, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 4, 2025.  Per his request, cremation rites have been accorded. Hector was born on October 10, 1953 to Luis and Rosa Heredia in Cuba.  He married Minerva in 1995; they later divorced but remained friends throughout the years.  Hector loved to socialize and make new friends.  This led him to his career in hospitality.  After he retired, Hector could be found watching his favorite Spanish Soap Oprah’s on T.V.  More then anything else, Hector loved his family.

Hector will be missed by his children Timothy Ruiz, Jorge Luis Heredia, Hector L. (Elizabeth) Heredia, Lazaro Heredia, Daniel (Patricia) Heredia, and Minnie Heredia; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his sister Roxani Heredia; niece Ruby and her children Victoria, Marielis, and Julian.

He was preceded in death by his parents Luis and Rosa and his brother Jorge Heredia.
