Harvey Bloomer

Harvey Bloomer, 62, of Columbus Junction, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at his home.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the Hogwash, 16362 Hwy 70 in Columbus Junction, Iowa.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Columbus Junction is caring for Harvey’s family and arrangements.

Joseph Harvey Bloomer was born on December 11, 1962, in Washington, Iowa the son of Keith and Norma Jean (Harris) Bloomer, Sr.  He was a graduate of Columbus Community School.  Harvey was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, tinkering in the shop and bee keeping.

Harvey will be deeply missed by his significant other, Mary Gabriel of Columbus Junction; his son, Jakob Bloomer and fiancé, Lindsey Arbogast of Wayland; step-sons, Eric and Devin; grandchildren, Kanen and Kimberlin; siblings, Mary Lacina of Davenport, Keith Bloomer, Jr. of Columbus Junction and John (Diane) Bloomer of Columbus Junction and many nieces.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents.
