 Gordon Crook, 65, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  Services will be held at a later date.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine are caring for the family.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Gordon.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Gordon Crook was born on December 4, 1955 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of George and Vivian (Cutler) Crook.  He served his country in the United States Navy.  Gordon was united in marriage to Monica Williamson on July 4, 2015.  He was a master machinist and later worked at the docks and for the City of Muscatine.  In his younger years he was a member of the Boy Scouts.  Gordon enjoyed riding his Harley, being on the river, taking his son fishing and reading, especially Stephen King books.  Gordon loved the community of Muscatine and was very involved with local events such as Toys for Tots. 

Gordon will be deeply missed by his wife, Monica; son, Gordon “Kiddo” Crook II; daughter, Wendy (Steven) Walker; step-sons, Joshua Worthington, Bradley Worthington; step-daughter, Teri Worthington; three step-grandchildren, Daryan, Noah and Lucas Magnuson; brother, Alan (Sue) Crook; sister, Mitzi (Skip) Redmond; nieces and nephew, Kharma Truitt, Rainy Dey Schneckloth, Moon Angel Flower Redmond, Brian Redmond and Destiny Redmond.

Gordon was preceded in death by his grandparents.
