Gladys Marie Robertson

Gladys Marie Robertson, aged 96, passed away to be with the Lord on February 6, 2026.

She was born, December 26, 1929.  As a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Gladys embodied grace and compassion. She lived her life with a sense of curiosity and bravery, inspiring those around her with her creativity and openness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva L. Tisor and Grace A. Courtney; her foster parents, Ralph R. Waterhouse and Esther M. Coder; sister, Irene Ruby Forbes; her husbands, Donald Marlette and Richard Robertson; her cherished sons, Duane C. Marlette and David R. Marlette (Marcia) and her beloved grandson, David Taylor.

Gladys instilled in her children the values of kindness and faith, and her legacy continues to thrive in their hearts. Her surviving children include Dennis A. Marlette (Norma) and Teresa D. Taylor (Ernie). Her legacy is carried on by her children, Dennis and Teresa, along with her 4 grandchildren,11 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and in the countless lives she impacted.

A graveside service to celebrate her home-going will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Letts Cemetery. The family kindly requests that attendees wear something red, honoring her favorite color.
