Gerri Stecher

Gerri Stecher, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.    A Celebration of Life for Gerri will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at the American Legion in Muscatine.    Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Gerri married Albert Stecher in July of 1966.  They had two children, Albert Dean (Terri) Stecher, Pamela Sue (John) Montandon; six grandkids, Kortney (Kellen) Barrett, Kalynn (Stephen) Craven, Cassi (Tyler) Chapman, Jorden Montandon, Alyssa (Griffin) Smith and Katie Hansen; five great-grandchildren, Karalynn, Raelynn, Beckett Andrew-James, Colter and Baylor Helen-Rose.

Gerri loved her family above everything.  She loved to camp, travel, was an avid reader, doing word search and spending time in Florida and Texas. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Cozad, mother, Margaret Ellis Cozad, brothers, William Cozad, Donald Cozad, Richard Cozad, sisters, Barbara Lewis, Mary Lou Hinden, and Wanda Shoultz.  Surviving brother, Scott (Gwen) Cozad.
