George Douglas Kline

George Douglas Kline of Clarksville, Tennessee passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 21, 2026.  Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Lone Tree Cemetery will military rites provided by the Lone Tree American Legion Post 457.

Born on March 25, 1943.  George proudly served his country for 20 years in the USAF retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant.  He spent the next 30+ years in Civil Service.  George loved fishing and touring the country on his motorcycle.

George is survived by his wife, Minnie Mitchell-Kline; daughter, Cindy (Rick) Schneider; grandchildren, Jennifer (Dana) Schneider, Holly (Ryan) Salmon, Heather Schneider and Katlyn Schneider; six great-grandchildren and one brother, David Kline of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Kline; mother, Eunice Myers Kline; sister, Sondra Schnoebelen and his son, Timothy Allen Kline.

George will be laid to rest near his family in Lone Tree, Iowa.
