Genene C. Moss

Genene C. Moss, 80, of Riverside passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025 at her home.  Private family services will be held in Nichols Cemetery.      Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservices.com.   Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Riverside are caring for Genene’s arrangements.   

Genene C. Schmitt was born on September 28, 1944 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Herbert Adam and Nell Marion (Kelsey) Schmitt.  Genene was a graduate of City High School and went on to attend the Universities of Northern Iowa and Upper Iowa.    On September 3, 1966, Genene was united in marriage to Glenn Randolph Moss.  Genene had various occupations through temporary agencies over her working career. 

Genene will be deeply missed by her children, Dwight (Tobi) Moss, Christine (Michael) Walters and Megan (Terry) Allen; grandchildren, Brittaney Moss, Katelyn (Clint) Bombei, Ashley (Brett) Johnson, David Walters, Tyler Allen, Jacob Allen and Kylie Allen and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Brynn, Sawyer, Dawson, Delaney, Ava and Kaja. 

Genene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn on September 20, 2015 and siblings, Norma "Toodie" (Andy) Wehde and Loren Otis Schmitt.
