G. Junior Mehaffy, 82, of Mediapolis, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the Great River Hospice House in Burlington. Services will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established for the family in memory of Junior. The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Service of Mediapolis is caring for the family. G. Junior Mehaffy was born on April 17, 1939 in Burlington, the son of George and Fanny (Delzell) Mehaffy. He retired from the Iowa Ammunition Plant.

Junior will be deeply missed by his, sister, Mary Petersen of Letts; nephew, Terry Petersen of Letts and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
