Floyd H Conner

Floyd H. Conner, 89, of Mediapolis, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Prairie Ridge Nursing Home in Mediapolis.

Floyd was born March 24, 1933 in Glidden, Iowa, the son of C.H. and Margaret (Green) Conner. He graduated from Glidden High School in 1951. Floyd was united in marriage to Beverly Joan Heick on June 20, 1981 in Mediapolis.

Floyd worked in agricultural related fields all of his life. He loved farming and tending to his garden and plants.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Beverly Conner of Mediapolis; children: David (Amanda) Conner of Des Moines; Janet (Richard) Perrenoud of Mediapolis; Robert (Patti) Lehnherr of Mediapolis; and Sue (DJ) Johnson of Mediapolis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Duane (Joyce) Conner of Glidden; and sister, Shirley Clark of Vinton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters.

A graveside service and interment will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kossuth Cemetery in Mediapolis. Following the graveside service, a celebration of life will be held at the American Legion, 98 Oaks St., Mediapolis, IA.
