Faith E. (Weaver) Pederson

Faith Elizabeth Pederson, 81, of Lone Tree, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Her celebration of life will be 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Iowa City, Iowa.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Faith. Faith Elizabeth Weaver was born on July 26, 1944, in Toppenish, Washington, the daughter of Fredrick Earl and Helen Clara Amolia (Ohm) Weaver.  She was a graduate of Humbolt High School.  On February 14, 1964, Faith was united in marriage to Eddie Pederson in Humbolt, Iowa.  She owned and operated “Faith’s Gift Shop” in Slater, Iowa while being a homemaker and later helped her husband with his office work. Faith was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Iowa City and was active in B.S.F for 20 years.  She enjoyed spending time with all of her family and going to all of their sporting events.  Faith will be remembered as an avid shopper.  She had two walking paces, shopping speed and sales shopping speed.  Faith also enjoyed golfing, playing cards and playing cribbage with her husband, Eddie, every day.

Faith will be missed by her husband, Eddie of Lone Tree; her children, Dawn (Todd) Saterfield of Nichols, Tony (Donna) Pederson of Coralville; grandchildren, Amanda Saterfield, Levi (Charolette) Saterfield, Tony (Jordan) Pederson, Jr., David Pederson and fiancée Maren Clemsen, Ashley Pederson; great-grandchild, Elizabeth Rose; sister, Lori Williams of Ankeny; niece, Randa Williams of Ankeny and great niece and nephew, Jeffrey and Emma.

Faith was preceded in death by her parents.
