Elwood Raymond Stemm

Elwood R. Stemm, 90, of Iowa City, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Lone Tree.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Elwood.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Elwood Raymond Stemm was born on May 18, 1933, in Johnson County, Iowa the son of Walter and Myrtle (Brandt) Stemm.  He was a farmer his entire life.  Elwood enjoyed farming, taking care of his cattle and his cats.

Elwood will be deeply missed by his sister-in-law, Ardella Stemm and numerous cousins.

Elwood was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Clarence Stemm and Alvin Stemm.
