Eldon Patterson

Eldon W. Patterson fell asleep in death on February 23, 2026 joining his parents and siblings who fell asleep before him.  Eldon lived a full life with fine qualities.  He was born on May 28, 1947 in Muscatine.  He was baptized in 1972 after coming to Muscatine from Chicago.  He was married to Nancy K. Brown in 1973 for 53 years in Muscatine.  Eldon worked for 30 years at HON Industries, then part-time jobs at Casey’s and Lowes.  He had a big part in building the Kingdom Hall in Muscatine in the early 70’s.  In 1980 Eldon and Nancy moved to Wapello.  He was a good dad to his son, Mike who lives in the Ozarks.  Eldon was known for his phrase “hey bud” when addressing you, whether he knew you or not. 

A memorial service for Eldon will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Muscatine.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello is caring for Eldon’s arrangements.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.
