Eddy D. Ghumm

Eddy D. Ghumm, 62, of Riverside, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021, at his home in Riverside.  There will be no visitation or funeral service.  Sympathy notes may be left for the Ghumm family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.   The Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Riverside is caring for Eddy’s family and arrangements. 

Eddy Ghumm was born on October 10, 1958, in Ulm, Germany, the son of Leroy and Hildegard (Cornreddy) Ghumm.  On June 19, 1982, Eddy was united in marriage to Connie Kelley and later divorced.  In December of 2000, Eddy was united in marriage to Frances Nicole Harr and later divorced.  Eddy worked at the University of Iowa for 20 years as a Dietary Supervisor.  He enjoyed watching movies, fishing, gambling and collecting, but most of all he loved to spend time with his children.

Eddy will be missed by his children, Eddy Ghumm, Jr. of North Liberty, Brandon Ghumm of Riverside, one grandchild, Paytin Ghumm and siblings, Ernest Ghumm, Yolanda Williams, Jesse Ghumm, Rose Pincenti, Michael Ghumm, Bill Ghumm and Rebecca Bowler.

Eddy was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harold Ghumm.
