Duane Martial (Jr.) Crossett

Duane Crossett Jr., 66, of Columbus Junction, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at his home.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be left for the family in memory of Duane.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Winfield is caring for the Duane’s arrangements. Duane Martial Crossett Jr was born October 11, 1956 in Washington, the son of Daune and Louis Ann (McDonald) Crossett.  He was united in marriage to Maureen Feeney on June 3, 1978 in Dubuque.  Duane served his country in the United States Army from 1980 to 1986.  After his time in the service he was worked for all the major airlines as an Aircraft Mechanic.  Duane was a farmer at heart and enjoyed helping on the family farm.  He also enjoyed tractors, reading and had a collection of model airplanes that represented each type of plane he worked on.  Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family.

Duane will be dearly missed by his wife, Maureen of Columbus Junction, children; Cheyenne M. Crossett of Phoenix, AZ, Duane M. Crossett III of Columbus Junction; parents, Duane and Louis Ann Crossett of Columbus Junction; sisters, Marcia (Kenny) Robertson of Columbus Junction and Melissa (Neal) Schuerer of Colorado Springs, CO.
