Dorothy (Keltner) Webb

Dorothy Lucille Webb, 94, of Wapello, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2021 at Wapello Specialty Care.  Private family services will be held at the Grandview Cemetery.  Memorials have been established for the Wapello Volunteer Fire Department, Wapello School Milk Program or the Wapello United Methodist Church.  Sympathy messages can be left for the family at www.sandfuneralservice.com.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello are caring for Dorothy’s arrangements. 

Dorothy Lucille Keltner was born on April 17, 1927 in Louisa County, Iowa, the daughter of Job and Grace (Hardman) Keltner.  Dorothy graduated from Grandview High School.  On February 23, 1947, Dorothy was united in marriage to Everett “Bud” Webb in Grandview.  Dorothy was a school cook for many years for the Wapello Community Schools.    She was a member of the Wapello United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and V.F.W. Auxiliary.  She enjoyed going on bus trips, spending time with family and never missing a grandchild’s sporting event. 

Dorothy will be deeply missed by her children, Anita (Dennis) Kennedy of Omaha, Nebraska, Diana (Larry) Kuhlenbeck of Burlington, Doug (Janice) Webb of Wapello, Peggy (Rick) Willson of Wapello and Kevin (Carol) Webb of Colorado; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and brother, Job “Junior” Keltner of Burlington. 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud on December 18, 2001; siblings, Don Keltner, Clarence Keltner, Harlan Keltner, Carl Keltner, Jolene Pogemiller and Maxine Cornick.
