Doris Jean Moser was born on April 9, 1936, the daughter of Ben and Anna Moser.  She was a graduate of Morton High School, in Morton, Illinois.  On June 10, 1962, Doris was united in marriage to Charles Leon Kuntz in Morton, Illinois.  She and Leon lived in the Oakville bottoms for many years, where they farmed and she kept busy keeping house.  In later years, after the flood of 2008, they moved to Mediapolis.  Doris was a devout Christian being baptized in September of 1954 in Morton, Illinois.  She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Oakville for many years, and in later years, the Apostolic Christian Church in Mediapolis.  Doris loved children, and would often take extra candy to church every Sunday for the little ones.  Doris loved to bake, and her chocolate chip cookies were “world renowned”.

Doris will be deeply missed by her husband, Leon of Mediapolis; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Nelda (John) Rowell and Barbara Moser; her church community and many other friends and neighbors.

Doris was looking forward to be reunited with her parents, Ben and Anna Moser; stepmother, Marie; beloved son Terry Lynn Kuntz and three siblings, Bob Moser, Betty Moser and Virginia (Jim) Hoerr in Heaven.
