I knew Mrs. Bates as Chris. I was a teenager & the family would pick me up & bring me to church. I never remember hearing Mrs. Bates ever having a bad word to say about anyone. A true Christian woman who loved life. Always a smile on her face. I haven't seen you for close to 20 years, & your photo you look like I always remembered you, the true, kind wonderful lady I knew & loved for over 40 years. I'm glad you made your way on up to heaven, where I'm sure you are singing hymns. I will be up to see you some day, Mrs. Bate. Love, Lora Irving

Remembering you Sister Bates with all the love I have in my heart for Tina.  You certainly left this world a much better place when you gave us such a lovely daughter as she is.  Sister Bates may have found the memories of her earthly journeys weren't available to share when her health failed, but they were alive in her heart and spirit where the love of Christ prevailed throughout her life. How lovely are the feet of those who bring good news.  This was her foundation for living as she shared the love of Christ with everyone she meant.  She is in glory where the light of the love of her Savior is covering her in peace, so rest now Sister Bates and know that Tina will continue to be sheltered in the love of all of those who are now her earthly moms and dads. Thank you for being such a willing vessel of Christ. ❤️
