Donna JoAnn (Frieden) Anderson

Donna JoAnn Anderson, 82, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Lutheran Living in Muscatine.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Drury Reynolds Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to Hospice Compassus in memory of Donna.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com

Donna JoAnn Anderson was born on January 30, 1943, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of O. Floyd and Frances Ellen (Miller) Frieden.  On August 30, 1963, Donna was united in marriage to Virgil Fred Anderson at the Providence Baptist Church in Drury Township, Illinois.  She worked over 50 years as a secretary, office manager, bookkeeper, insurance agent and medical transcriptionist.  Donna loved her young Sunday school class, cooking and baking.

Donna will be deeply missed by her son, Chad (Melissa) Anderson of Ankeny; granddaughter, Riley Marie Anderson of Ames; siblings, Mary Frieden of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Jim (Leann) Frieden of Blue Mound, Illinois; brother-in-law, Pat Beason of Muscatine; sister-in-law, Sherrie Frieden of Muscatine and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Don Frieden, Ron Frieden and John Frieden; sisters, Doris Frieden and Jeanie Beason and 3 other siblings at birth.
