Donna Marie (Wagner) Alloway

Donna M. Alloway, 79, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at her home.  A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 1:00-5:00 P.M. at the Fruitland Community Center.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City or to the family to place a memorial bench at the riverfront. Donna Marie Wagner was born on October 4, 1940 in Conesville, Iowa, the daughter of Leo R. and Viola M. (Stratton) Wagner.  On October 4, 1958, Donna was united in marriage to Mel Alloway and later divorced.  She enjoyed being in the outdoors, gardening, cooking for her family and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.  Her life was all about watching and spending time with her grandkids who meant the world to her. 

Donna will be deeply missed by her children, Brian (Mari) Alloway, Brenda (Jeff) Dahnke and Laura Alloway all of Muscatine; 10 grandchildren, Jamie (Travis Beck) Bohling, Lyndsay (Craig Reichert) Alloway, Brian (Jessica) Alloway, Jr., Barry (Brittney) Major, Brianna (Zach Ostby) Alloway, Madison Alloway, Joshua (Jennifer) Dahnke, Jacob (Natasha) Dahnke, Tyler (Carley) Whitlow and Rachel (Barth) Donald;  17 great-grandchildren, Bryson, Ashleigh and Logan Bohling, Raylen Alloway, Xavier and Ariel Major, Brayden Alloway, Kinnick Reichert, Kynzee Dahnke, Ashton Ganzer, Caden Driscoll, MacKenzie and Ryleigh Whitlow, Anthony and Bentley Donald, Isabelle Hopkins and Audrey Donald; and siblings, Randy (Leza) Wagner of Muscatine, Margaret Mescher of Muscatine, Kerry (Ron) Ziehl of Fredonia and Mona Alloway of Oakville.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Peggy Wear, Patty Adcock, Juanita Lobdell, Sharon Stevens, Marilyn Brockert and Harriett Bass and brothers, Jack Wagner, Robert Wagner and David Wagner.
