Diannia "Dubba" "Deda" McDonald

Diannia McDonald, also known as “Dubba” or “Deda”, 73, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, at UnityPoint Health in Muscatine.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Muscatine American Legion Post 27, 110 S. Houser Street, Muscatine, IA.  Memorials may be left to the family in memory of Diannia.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Service of Muscatine is caring for the family.  Sympathy notes may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Diannia McDonald was born on March 4, 1949 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Marvin and Mary (Dipple) McDonald.  She graduated from Muscatine High School.  Diannia retired from the Muscatine School Board after 40 years.  She enjoyed reading, quilting and her pets.  Most of all she treasured the time spent with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews at her campsite.

Diannia will be deeply missed by her mother; Mary McDonald of Fairport, siblings; Gary (Kim) McDonald of Longville, MN, Doug McDonald, Tim McDonald, Lori (Bill) Hopkins, all of Fairport and Leanna (Ross) Resetich of Muscatine, along with many nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Randy McDonald.
