Diane R. (Woodford) Wehner

Diane Rae Wehner, 70, of Muscatine, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024 at her home. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Raccoon River Rescue in memory of Diane. Diane was born October 14, 1953 in Sioux Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Shirley (Miller) Woodford. She graduated from South Clay High School and went on to obtain her teaching certificate. Diane was united in marriage to Michael Wehner on October 2, 1982 in Perry, Iowa.

Diane worked for Woodward Resource Center for 32 years. She loved animals and spent her time volunteering with animal rescues. Diane enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest joy in life came from the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Diane will be deeply missed by her husband, Michael Wehner of Muscatine; son, Kyle (Anna) Wehner of Iowa City; grandchildren, Miriam and Natalie Wehner; sister, Janet (William) Minner of Topeka, Kansas; brother, Craig Woodford of Spencer; niece, Mira (Will) Allen of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; nephews: Lance Minner of Topeka, Kansas and Ross (Paula) Woodford of Ankeny; and aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
