Diane M. (Zaehringer) Rohde

     Diane M. Rohde, 77, of Bettendorf, formerly of Muscatine, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.  A memorial service will be held at a later date on the Rock Island Arsenal.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Muscatine Humane Society or the Clarissa C.      Diane Marie Zaehringer was born on May 6, 1949, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Virgil and Dorothy (Coulter) Zaehringer. On December 13, 1966, Diane was united in marriage to Rodney S. Rohde in Fruitland. She was a homemaker. Diane was a member of the Muscatine Y and the Parkinson’s Group. She enjoyed reading, traveling, the computer and spending time with her husband and family.

     Diane is survived by her daughter, Dana (Mark) McNamee of Wilton; sister, Janice (Scott) Mills of Fruitland; special friend, Lee Forrester of Bettendorf and many nieces and nephews. 

     Diane was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rodney and two brothers, Dennis Zaehringer and Clayton Zaehringer.
