Dennis Cozad Obituary

Dennis D. Cozad, 73, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at La Porte Hospital in La Porte, Indiana. Per Dennis’ wishes there will not be any services or visitation. Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services is caring for Dennis’ family and the arrangements.

Dennis D. Cozad was born on June 29, 1949 in Muscatine, Iowa the son of Richard Allen and Muriel Jean (Ash) Cozad. Dennis was a graduate of Muscatine High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Dee Dee was Dennis’ greatest enjoyments.

Dennis will be deeply missed by his daughters, Alicia (Michael Mackey) Cozad of Michigan City, Indiana and Denise (James) Miller of Kalona, Iowa; son, Lee (Amy) Vannier of Lenexa, Kansas; grandchildren, Alexis, Nicholas, Matthew, Zachary, Callie, Aundrea, Ian, Ava and Hope and two great-grandchildren, Liam and Maia; sisters, Melanie (Tom) Gray, Tamara (Mel) Tweedy and Janet Cozad and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends who he loved dearly.

Dennis was preceded in death by parents; one son, Richard Ricky Anthony Cozad; grandson, Caleb Miller; two sisters, Teresa Kirk and Laurie Harper and one brother, Richard Allen Cozad II.
