Dennis Leon Beechum

Dennis Beechum, 64, of Conesville, passed away on April 29, 2022 at his home in Conesville.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Thirsty Camel, 18747 IA 70, Conesville, IA 52739.  The Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Service of Columbus Junction is caring for the family.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Dennis.  Online condolences may be left at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. 

Dennis Leon Beechum was born January 5, 1958 in Muscatine, the son of Vernon and Margaret (Wright) Beechum.  Beechum, as everyone knew him, grew up in Muscatine and graduated from Muscatine High School.  He was united in marriage to Sandy Bushong in Conesville.  He enjoyed spending time BBQing for his family and laughing at his many life stories.  Beechum loved hunting and fishing with his friends and letting them know the correct way to do both.  He also loved spending time with his family and especially teaching his gardening skills to his granddaughter, Piper.

Beechum will be deeply missed by his wife Sandy; daughters, Mariah and Courtney; sons, Dennis Beechum Jr and Seth Casel; granddaughter, Piper Moore; sisters, Elly Lloyd, Jackie Scroggins, Monte (William) Putney and Dee Beechum; brother, James Beechum and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents; grandparents; and several uncles and aunts.
