Deborah Ann (Reed) Storm

Deborah "Debbie" Storm, 70, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at UnityPoint Health- Trinity Rock Island.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservices.com. 

Deborah Ann Reed was born on April 12, 1955 in Iowa City, the daughter of Arnold and Bertha (Ashby) Reed.  On September 15, 1973, she was united in marriage to James Storm.  Debbie was a nurses aid at several local nursing homes including Lutheran Homes, Carrington Place and Bickford Cottage.  She cared deeply about her residents and helping them and their families transition to this new location.  After one of her residents passed she was there to comfort the family any way she could.  Debbie enjoyed games, crossword puzzles and most of all, being with her family especially her grandchildren.  

Debbie will be deeply missed by her children, Tabitha Penland and Jeff Storm, both of Muscatine; grandchildren, Ashley Penland, Brandon Penland; Liam Hansford and Aiden Hansford and sister, Georgia VanAuken.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, brothers, Kenneth, Clarence and Robert and sister, Nancy Dodd.
